Mazda began offering free oil change and vehicle cleaning to healthcare heroes. This is not limited to Mazda owners and covers most makes/models. There's no Mazda close to me, so I can't take advantages of this deal, but I hope others can. More details in the link below.

Very limited number of dealerships are participating. Those that do have some level of foot traffic are not unfortunately

There is a local participating dealer and my wife still has her ID from before she retired... Naw that would be too scummy.

Thanks for sharing. I think healthcare providers are less likely to eat MacDonald's, but it's a nice gesture for sure.

In NYC there are not only MDs, but also plenty of HHAs alike on minimum wages.

The program has expanded and now many dealers are listed as participating in NYC. My local dealer lists the price for the synthetic $75, while a regular $30. I noticed now that the language states a standard or essential service, while some vehicle manufacturers require synthetic oil. Any one know if such a vehicle is eligible?

Make sure you call ahead to your dealership of choice. A lot of them are participating in a limited capacity, meaning they get partial reimbursements and you pay the rest.
