From the responses to my post. apparently some people thought I was actually serious about the magic stones 😂😂😂
I'm looking to upgrade from a pair of Infinity P143.
There is a lot of "return on investment" in this lower price category of speakers. Many are thrilled when they try their first $150/pair speakers because its such an improvement over the $30 to $100/pair they are used to. The same applies when you go up to $200/pair and then $250/pair. Point being, the price steps from good to very-good are often very small. Going from a good but still low-end speaker, up to a mid-grade speaker, is a worthwhile investment.
Gaining an appreciation for good speakers and becoming an "Audiophile" is not cheap. Irony is, the better the speaker you have, and the more you enjoy it, the more you appreciate how good it can be, and therefore the better you want and the more you start spending.
The upgrade from good to great is easy, the upgrade from great to perfect is the one that never-ends and drains your wallet.
These are good speakers, problem is they are only good speakers. If you have a few more dollars to spend, its cheaper to do it now than to upgrade these later. You can get to great speakers for not a lot more.
