I can't envision going to a movie theater before there is herd immunity to COVID-19. I've seen estimates ranging anywhere from 1-3 years until a vaccine is available. Social distancing aside, the cool, dry air that air conditioning produces are COVID-19's best friends. Theaters will probably be an unfortunate victim of this pandemic.

On the other hand, theaters will likely reopen in the summer months, for some period of time at least. If you don't care about the risks involved and will use up your GC quickly, before a 2nd wave, this might be worth it.

I still have some money left in my atom acct. this is very good deal but I'm so afraid that when the COVID-19 will be end or we feel safe again to go to the theater. I've missed the good old days Frown

Hard pass! I bought $100 gc from Costco and the week after they stopped working with regal, which is the only movie theater I use. So been sitting on $92 of leftover gc I cannot use since last summer.
