MetroPCS is offering free Galaxy A20 phone and $25 unlimited plan per line when you switch 4 lines.

If you have family plan with older phones and thinking about switching this might be a good deal. Galaxy A20 is not a flagship phone but good solid mid range device. Unlimited $20 month is also a good deal if you are in T-mobile / MetroPCS coverage area.

Service
Unlimited $25 / month
No tethering

Decent phone, great display, bad camera. I would jump on this if I had a local store. Cause its in store only.

Plus 4x SIM and 4x activation = double the price at a minimum.

OP typo. Battery is 4000 mAh, not 400 mAh.

I believe SIM card comes with the new phone. In this case you have to pay 4x activation.

I know Metro want us to support the Stores, but they should be making these deals available online for the time being.

SIM is free, only $15 Activation charges per line.

So,
$25 unlimited per line * 4 = $100
+
$15 Activation per line * 4 = $60

Total $160 for 4 phones and one month Unlimited service.

Phone is unlocked after 6 months, even if you don't pay after 1 month.

I don't know why, but the OP has listed $20/month two times in his post. I know this must be a typo, but it needs to be corrected. His title is correct, however!

You tell me. I've been a MetroPCS customer 10+ years. I miss those online purchases and services. Now everything's store driven. I don't like this...

Some folks aren't understanding, but they will learn. 90% of the locations are independent operators and they will rarely ever let you walk out without adding accessories or tacking on surcharges.

Best way to try this is thru the corporate locations. I have 2 around me within 25 miles. I would give it a try in store but the a20 is a year old now, not sure if it's better to wait for a similar deal on a new model.

Metro adds on sales tax based on ARV. In my experience, the corporate stores will be the most likely to impose more costs on top of the base price. Independent Dealer surcharges vary store to store. Call around for a quote before showing up.
