As a healthcare worker we dont know if the person were talking to who is sick is just having a bad cold or the Covid. Its super stressful.

Things like this is where we can go home buy stuff we like and be like "yey some perks!"

Thanks for the companies and to people who dont go "OMG why are they getting discounts and not me!"

When you go to checkout there is a Promo Code / Discount line. You have to click edit and then login with ID.me. It added the discount after that.
I verified. But the price doesn't go down.

I just grabbed my free McDonalds breakfast today and then followed up with a free car wash.

Cobblestone in AZ is giving a free exterior drive through wash for free.

Went to Krispy Kreme last Monday, was denied. All out of glazed.
Krispy Kreme is a joke. They're perpetually out of glazed donuts now (after never being out before). They have like 120 donuts / 10 dozen at the beginning of the day, and if you're not the first few, they're out and stop making more.

They're simply trying to piggyback on this crisis as a promotion, but unlike many other companies, aren't genuinely interested in helping.

Taco Bell gave us 50% off our whole order tonight. My wife is an xray tech. Not sure if its nationwide, but it worked in Maryland.

The ER I worked at ended up cancelling all contract workers due to the low census, and another hospital I'm at is constantly calling off nurses due to the same thing. But hell yea I agree with you, I would rather have a full load of shitty patient's than 2 Covid patient's. The gowning up constantly is so shitty.
Oh please don't even mention that, thanks God I don't have a episode of diarrhea. 😂🤣

Get why health care workers get discounts but it should be offered to other people who are Frontline workers i only see a couple that apply. I mean doctors make good money already. 🤦
Not all doctors make good money. Resident physicians make about 50k/year. They work long 12 hour shifts (minimum), have on average 1 weekend off per month. And also have 200k+ in loans for the privilege of going to med school (accumulating interest). Resident physicians make below minimum wage on a per hour basis. And have a minimum of 8 years worth of college + med school education under our belts. A resident will have an additional 3+ years of being a doctor under their belt and still get paid at that level. Think about that for a second: minimum 11 years of additional education and training, plus huge debt to make minimum wage. And there are thousands in each hospital. Without them these hospitals would not function. They are surrounded by Covid. Are you saying they make too much money??

BESIDES, even those full fledged attendings physicians who are making good money, is their daily sacrifice putting themselves and their family in danger, less significant because they make money? The above discounts are a way to say "thank you", they are not going to make or break anyone's finances.

Is this still active. I really could use a memory foam pillow. But says this donation is now closed.

Thanks OP, great job here!
Will be signing up my wife and oldest son for a few of these. A second (or third) pair of work sneakers would alleviate the need to constantly hunt down Lysol to spray them down.
You just bought me a couple extra hours of sleep. Thanks again!
