This G6 renewed was previously priced at $57-$58 plus additional $15 TF Plan to include $50 Giftcard, this was posted in another thread found here:

Im not sure at $35 it's going to qualify for the giftcard deal anymore, but if you want to try adding $15 activation plan, and get back $50, it's literally a free phone

I got one myself recently for the promotion, including tax it worked out to $13 something in NY if you considered the Amazon card like cash. It's quite nice and if it wasn't entirely new it was impossible to tell.

The $50 promotion states the phone needs to be $49+ !!!

.
And also to unlock, need to buy additional refill airtime service for another year.
This current price is flat $28 with discover 20% off, otherwise $35. I mean it just depends what ppl need, and how they plan to use a locked TF device. Still a very decent price for a g6 without any hassle.
Only con/negative would be the camera - not the best pictures, but then I've been comparing to my daughter's Pixel 3.....that may be unfair...
"PROMOTION: Get a $50 eGift Card when you purchase a $49+ Tracfone Handset and activate a new line of service by 5/7/2020 on the Tracfone website. Min. $15 plan required with service charge and applicable sales tax due at sale. Airtime Bundled Handsets excluded."
And how is $34.99 +$15 activation over $75 OOP?
