If you're interested in the OnePlus 8, this is a really good deal. Verizon is offering up to $550 (24-monthly bill credit) with eligible trade-in. This effectively drops the price to $249.99 over 24 months. Oldest phones I saw on there eligible for the promo were the Note 4 and the Turbo 2. If you can find one cheap, and don't plan on leaving Verizon for 24-months, this is a great deal. Best of all, it works for upgrades as well.

In order to get the full $550 credit, you must be on:
  • Beyond Unlimited
  • Above Unlimited

Or:
  • Play More Unlimited
  • Do More Unlimited
  • Get More Unlimited

You can get a reduced trade-in of up to $350 on other plans, such as the New Verizon Unlimited Plan.

(This version doesn't have the dual-SIM tray, but it does have the 5G UW.)

They're basing trade in credit on what version of unlimited plan you have. Wow what a scummy move. Now not only do you have to be on an unlimited plan, but you have to be on the BEST unlimited plans. Even though, by definition, there should only be one unlimited plan.

Why is the retail price for the base Oneplus 8 5G $799 at Verizon when Oneplus sells it for $699? Specs are the same, just different colors.

Verizon required IP certification (that's $ to get) which the Non-Verizon Oneplus 8 doesn't have, plus the addition of Verizon 5g high-band millimeter wave aka mmwave (mostly useless to most in its current offering)

I just got $550 off today with an existing line. It was $350 off on start unlimited, so I upgraded to play more unlimited for $10 extra/month ($240 over the 24 month payment plan) and got an extra $200 with trade. So $40 over 2 years for 5g, apple music, 720p streaming, 25 gigs priority, 15 gb 4g hotspot... Definitely worth it

$800 - $550 Trade in - $150 swapping carrier +$90 used S7 .

It would cost me $190 per phone before taxes. hmmmm If the phone was free after I would do it instantly.

(Pricing makes the Iphone SE 2 competitive on those $200 deals, but it doesn't have 5G. And I hate iOS.)

Really hate that I missed the free Samsung S10E deal. Trying to get back to Verizon on a good deal. T-Mobile service sucks, on all our phones, from LGv35 to the 11 pro max. It'll show 4G LTE and just wont load web pages. Calls don't go through sometimes, and gets dropped. My work phone is still on verizon, works fine.

I guess since I don't really need the phones I can resell one after 60 days and break even at zero for 3 lines.

Had a spare Moto Z4 (prior desk on here from BestBuy) using as a backup phone.

Happy to do this deal as it fits my use case (on higher Verizon unlimited plan), and the Z4 trade-in netted me $550 credit. Sure it's the less preferable monthly credits, but I'm staying on Verizon so credits it is.

Had an old pixel XL laying around that I'm not using anymore. $550 trade in for it? Yes please! While I would have loved to get the OnePlus 8 pro, I'll take this and I think I will be happy.

YMMV, but I received $550 off on each of 4 upgrades. Two were s7 Edges and two were Samsung J7 which were not on the list. I did have to switch to the Play Unlimited to get the $550 vs $350 for the regular Unlimited.

Charged full upgrade fee, which I will try to get reduced.
