Hard to say, some of the "deals" can be found cheaper from other sites.
If you never purchased before you can get a 10% off discount when you first sign up.
sometimes you can compare prices to cheaper even on their sister sites (birch lane, joss & main), call them up to price match, add the 10% off coupon and amex and might have a decent deal.

One thing to watch out for I noticed atleast in bath vanities they "rename" the product description / brand to their own house brand and jack up the price or show the xx% discount to be a great deal, when it is marginally better or worse than normal.

Furniture is probably #1 thing.

I get the Wayfair 10% coupons in the mail all the time. At least 1x per 2 weeks or so. So being able to double up on discounts is very nice.

There is the Wayfair Professional program. Apparently you can sign up for the program with just your phone number and your SSN if you call up directly (through the web you need a real EID to do it), assuming you have a...ahem...person business. The professional program generally gives like 15% off of products, all times.

Not on my accounts. Could be because i took advantage and redeemed one the last time they had it. If you dont need anything at WayFair right now you can buy a gift card and should still get the credit

Thanks Tokar,

Do any of those coupons work for *returning* customers? Every one on ebay, and every one I've seen, is for new customers only.

The table and chair set I'm eyeing shows 0% discount on Wayfair professional, sadly...

You actually don't need EID to do it online either. I don't remember too much detail but just ignore it and go as far as you can go into that signup process, then just stop. You'll get an email confirming your account, and you'll be able to shop with your business account. I found this out by accident a few years ago.

Sadly it seems like all the coupons are for first time users.......but there are no restrictions on setting up new accounts. I made a purchase with new account #1. Before doing so I had called them for details, and like most retailers they really wanted me to put in that order over the phone, but I told them I wanted to do it online. For the second one I needed to confirm details of the product and I figured I would give the phone rep some work amid this virus lockdown and put the order in over the phone. I wasn't thinking when I gave them my normal email, which is different from account #1. They made the purchase with the coupon over the phone for the new e-mail. Then i wanted to make purchase #3 using my wife's name and her AMEX deal, so I created it with account #3, same address, just her name.

Abuse of the system? No, I don't think so. The same exact products are on other websites wherein I can use a coupon - Buy Buy Baby had one item I bought before I dawdled and it went out of stock (albeit with a $15 shipping surcharge). I could have used a 20% coupon on that. Target and Amazon had the third item, same price, with which I could have used 15% baby registry coupons on that. The second item was available only on Wayfair, and if I had planned it out properly while being legit, I would have done this one with the coupon and bought the first item at Buy Buy Baby and the third item at Target.

Yeah, actually I had filled out the application when I was trying to figure out the best discounts and some blogger mentioned the program. Without reading I just filled out the application, but when I got to the EID I stopped the application. The blogger said I could call in and give my SSN to avoid the EID, but I figured its not worth it. Don't want to play this game. Maybe a week later Wayfair called me out of the blue to complete my information (and they didn't ask for either my SSN or EID) and now I have access. And honestly, it really is nothing special unless you are buying business items. Need a basic house computer desk? Yeah, no discount. But, if you need a BUSINESS desk, discounts range from 5-15% compared to the consumer page.

Reps for you Tokar, I appreciate the explanation!

A different question for the group. I just purchased a $100 Wayfair GC, fully expecting that I'd get the usual "Congrats" email confirming that I'd used an amex offer. Instead, nothing.

Can anyone confirm that GCs have triggered this offer properly? TIA, Dave

Update: Got the confirmation email several hours after ordering. Then I placed 2 more GC orders on the other cards, and the emails came immediately, as usual. Hope that helps someone else.

Yes. The total charged, which includes any shipping/tax/other fees, has to be $100.

Just a heads up: IME, wayfair is woefully ill-euipped to handle any Amex offer stacking.

I used these GCs to immediately place an order for a table and chairs. *Eight days later*, I get a cancellation email for the gift cards, with no explanation, and also cancels the dining set.

Since my family really wants that set, I place the order again, this time with a credit card, which takes an hour on hold to get done. It gets done wrong, so I have to replace the order on May 21, to ship Tueday May 26. I check this morning, and it was "never sent to the warehouse"...so this morning, it needs to be shipped *again.* We'll see if the 4th time is finally a charm.

Did they reversed the Gift card transactions ?
