You know, it wouldn't surprise me to see SD's getting paid by the man just to search for mistakes so they can correct it. Not to mention drawing traffic to the site which alerts IT to the problem so they can make the appropriate changes.
Look for a lot of begging with CS chat because of a misprint in the ad to honor the price.
A little early in the morning to have a stroke over slickdeals

Great point! How dare op post such a slick deal to a site called SlickDeals. In fact, everyone should probably stop posting deals here entirely. Never can be too safe!

Even with the aging hardware, I still consider this one of the better Google devices for sound and I have owned quite a few Google Home devices. Mostly because the 1) the design is not awful and decently compact 2) the mics are excellent 3) the sounds is much better than you might expect from the size 4) Non Google branded devices tend to have software limitations for one reason or another.
Popular devices that I have not owned: Nest Max, Home Max, Sonos One.
Popular devices that I have owned that I prefer this sound over: Both generation Minis, Google Display 7", Lenovo Display 8" and 10" and both sizes of the Insignia devices Bestbuy used to sell.
Obligatory reminder, don't forget that pairing a Chromecast Audio to any speaker with an Aux port and a nearby Google Mini give you nearly unlimited sound potential as an alternative.
Edit at 12:01am Sunday: Ordered 4 from Walmart, Tuesday possible delivery.
