Hi guys, i am trying to add a line to my existing account but i keep getting verification code error in the submit order screen. I did receive the verification code from ATT but none of them works. I called couple times but none of their reps know how to resolve this. Any insights will be greatly appreciated
When was your account created? From what I've read in past posts, your account has to be x days old (2-3 or 7, can't remember which) before the verification code procedure will work. It's similar to the quirk that you can't change the PIN code until your account is 2-3 days old.

AT&T doesn't know/care if your phone is unlocked, but if it's still locked to Sprint then it won't accept an AT&T SIM for use.

I tried to port in a number 3 times all get denied. And i tried to add a that line today and i was getting that verification code error. Then i called in today the ATT rep told me she contacted sprint to do something in their backend for me to port in. she said she had to call me back but she said she will be able to add that $250 promo to the account. I will see how that goes

So everytime my application failed during the port-in stage. But im feeling the same as what you mentioned, port in should not fail even if the phone is locked. It was very confusing...I hope i can somehow get this line ported over..

Both my numbers had an error when I clicked the transfer number; so chatted with H2O reps - they manually submitted the port request; didnt work. Couple of days later chatted with them again (they said port request failed, couldnt tell why) and asked to resubmit once more. That was last week and I almost forgot. Just checked the AT&T online and the number isn't showing under devices. So I'm thinking the port-out worked this time; not sure.
I was able to confirm the number has ported in to H2O. I also got an email on successful completion of port-in from H2O which was kinda nice.

I've ported 8 numbers from AT&T and Sprint to H2O. I got an email for each one when the port requests were submitted to the previous carriers, but never got an email on whether or not they were successful.

A phone locked or unlocked is a hardware issue. Porting problems are something completely different. I don't know why some people had problems with porting out of Sprint. I only had 3 Sprint lines to port out and didn't have any problems with them.

I had problems on mine.

My theory is that if you have an iPhone then remove the track my phone on it.
Check if you can swap the phone( just check to see if above was done successfully). This happened for one line on iPhone not for others on iPhone.

Then submit h2o port. It is a pain to get the h2o folks to resolve

Woohoo! My $600 BF cb on acct #1 with 4 lines ordered on 5/3/20 became Payable today. Already withdrew the money. This account was ported out on 6/26, so they will pay on a closed account.
I would like to know how they calculated that? Awesome Job Hpham! We waited another month for Honey Cashback. They calculated our order amount was $600.00 But only paid out $240 in Honey Gold. I have no clue how that happened.////

Also a recap of this deal for Slickdeals looking to use this deal. If your order is successfully placed which has a high likelihood of failure.$75 a line for TCB or $50 a line for BF.

$250x2=$500 VGC Can be cashed out venmo or MO very easily.
$50x2= $100

Bill=$120 a monthx2=$240

Profit upwards of $300

You can try to chat with customer service to get a higher visa card promotion

I ported 2 lines to ATT couple of days back. Do I need to submit the rebate to get the $250 gc or I don't need to do anything? The terms and conditions says $250 gc is limited to 2 per account. But I tried to add 2 more lines to my account and it still shows $250 in the cart. So if I add 2 more lines will I get 4 $250 gc as I already ported in 2 lines to this account.

If you had read past posts, you would've known that nobody received that email no matter how long ago the lines were activated. Past posts have info on how to contact AT&T Reward Center and request your GCs.

1. Read past posts on when and how to contact AT&T Reward Center to request your GCs.
2. The cart showed the $250 for your additional lines because it has no ideas about your existing lines. Most likely, when it's time for a rep to submit your GCs request, the rep or their system will only give you a total of two GCs for your account.

Thanks. So can I create another account using the same ssn or has to use another ssn?
