Um, not sure if you're just trolling, but I think the obvious answer is so that you can use this on a job site that has no power.

This probably wouldn't be much value/$ for regular homeowener/hobbyist.
Got this for way more. Incredible saw.

Pretty solid deal. Are you sure that there are 4 batteries or are they just discounting the 2?

I just bought that circular saw at HD for 170 with no batteries. Guess it's getting returned! Glad I didn't open it! Great deal!

You don't have to drag cords around. That's the beauty of cordless tools🤷🏻 ♂️

I didn't think a battery operated saw would be a big deal, but pulling this out and not having to run an extension cord was a significant convenience. If your shop setup will leave the saw in place all the time, there is little value.

Power on this saw is similar or greater than the 10" sliding Ridgid I replaced. Got this one 2 years ago ($400 for the saw and 4 5.0AH batteries @HD) and haven't had a single issue with it.

Don't think he's ever been to a job site or a job where there is never enough outlets or extension cords to do a job. Being cordless is so convenient and efficient. I can just make quick cuts in my van or truck then move onto the next project.

That's a great deal on the 36V (18V x2) rear handled circular saw. I believe MSRP was $299.99 for just the kit so this is $50 cheaper with another 2 5.0ah batteries. You have about $250 in batteries alone before you factor in Dual Port Charger, Saw, Bag.

Would jump all over the miter saw if I didn't think my girlfriend would kill me
