Ordered one yesterday. Similar deal for jig saw and reciprocating saw. Buy the bare tool and get a 5.0 battery, charger, and bag.

Just bought the Dewalt kit for 149.00 at lowes a week ago that came with the impact, drill and reciprocating saw...Do I need this to go with it?

Definitely, this saw is well built and very good, plus the extra 5Ah battery would complement your reciprocating saw much better than the 2Ah battery.

Are you going to ask next - do I need the jig saw + 5Ah to go with all all this? Yes laugh out loud

Is this a good price? Searching for recent past deals, I saw https://slickdeals.net/f/13913606-dewalt-20v-max-7-1-4-cordless-circular-saw-tool-only-dcs570b-101-99-fs for $102 which is the bare tool, and I believe a deal for 5ah battery should cost much less than $77 right?

Also, saw this https://slickdeals.net/f/13934066-dewalt-flexvolt-60v-max-brushless-7-1-4-circular-saw-6-0ah-battery-impact-wrench-279-free-s-h, 60v saw + 6ah battery was $179.

That Murdochs deal will likely never happen again. I took advantage of that sale and spent $500 on tools that are $1000 normally. If you check right now, the lowest price ever besides Murdochs is $20-30 more. So this deal with a battery is not bad. You could sell the battery and charger for probably $60.

Thanks OP, bought this with the Lowe's $269 combo deal. Ended up with a better all brushless 6pc set compared to Home Depot $499 7pc combo deal. Just don't get the grinder which I already had, and a bag instead of tough case. Though did get 5 amp instead of 4 amp extra battery, and the better 7 1/4in circ saw.

$179 @ Lowes, but you get a 3amp VS 5amp @ Grainger.

Lowes is available NOW VS Grainger a month later est. delivery July 2020.

If you're a true SD'er, there are ways bulb to get Lowe's $179 down to lower price.
