I have a 3 that is broken. Cracked screen / won't turn on... is this a better deal than repairing?
Do you have Apple Care? If not, it's probably better to replace it.

If you can cough up 120$ more, Series 5 at Target for 300$ is much better deal.

If you ask me, yes. The price to repair will be close to buying this one new with a full warranty. Additionally, it should be eligible for Apple Care should it happen again.

I bought it at $199 about a week ago, but Walmart no longer does price adjustments. A return/rebuy is too much hassle with all the setup.

However, I agree with the poster above — now that the 5 is $299, I'd spring for that. The always-on screen would be worth it to me, plus 2mm bigger and a wee bit faster. And lots of cool tools for cardio hypochondriacs!

Is there any point buying this if you're an Android user?
No, as far as I know, they are not compatible. Android watches will be compatible with iPhone but not visa versa.

Only if you own a recent iPhone too - it is required for operation of the watch. When I switched to Android I bought a carrier locked iPhone SE (first generation, that stays on WiFi at home - I don't use the cell service) so that I could keep using the watch.
