a 64oz jug at walmart is 2.79, these come out to 32oz 1.76 each.

This is a terrible deal...
It's called almond milk because "nut juice" would sound weird.
They're the same, they don't need to be refrigerated. They're in there to compete with regular milk.

Does this not spoil when it's boiling in the back of a delivery truck and left outside all afternoon? I was under the impression it needed to be refrigerated (I guess the word "milk" is what's confusing me, but I guess it doesn't have dairy)

Nope, no refrigeration necessary til it's opened.

Just back from Aldi where a half gallon was $1.59. I get the convenience though of having it delivered to your door.

the same amount of silk unsweet almond at my costco (in 3 containers of 2 quarts each) that is also labeled USDA organic on the packaging (and 40 cals as opposed to 30) is $8.99

Pay more to not leave your house is the norm, far from a "slick deal".

Not the same.

The 64 oz cartons sold next to the milk say in all caps: "MUST BE REFRIGERATED"

The Tetra Paks say "After opening, keep refrigerated".
