Verizon is offering customers with existing non-committed 100/100 plan a free upgrade to 200/200 plan for the same monthly cost of $39.99 without additional commitments.

To receive this free upgrade, login to MyVerizon dashboard here [verizon.com]. Then click "Order Now" under the black "mix & match on Fios" tile. Click your existing 100/100 speed, then click "More Speeds" and select 200/200 for a month cost of $39.99.

Complete the order and you'll now have double the speed for "free".

Please note that if your G1100 or G3100 router is connected to the ONT via COAX, your order will not be processed unless a technician visits your location to switch it over to Ethernet. COAX on the ONT only supports speeds up to 100/100 and anything faster will require the router to be connected directly into the Ethernet port on the ONT.

This is awesome! My price was set to increase to 55 next month and this basically priced me into 40 forever! Plus you get disney plus for 12 months apparently?

I just upgraded my family members. Just because they have COAX connection (pre-2016) technician visit is needed. First available date (due to the Covid-19) is December 1, 2020 Smilie I'm glad that you can easily change from COAX to ethernet yourself in less than 5 minutes and just notify Verizon about it.

Good deal!

How long does it normally take for the speed to change? On the verizon site it said I should see changes in "5 minutes" but it's almost been an hour

Is 39.99 with debit auto pay or 39.99 with regular CC payment?

I think it with auto pay using a debit/Bank account. I just did that and I didn't see anything about a $10 discount

Do you have to select "install now"? It shows the earliest date as Dec 1.

I had 13 months left, was able to do this with the mix and match > more speeds option. 200 was the same as my 100. Price dropped 10 a month. I did have a note saying I was still obligated for the length of my original term
There's no termination fee to go from contract to no contract?

I'm kinda confused. It says in some places on my dash board that I have 100 up and down. Yet, when I do a download speed test, I get 300mb+ up and down. Also, it says this.

I haven't messed with my internet prices in like a year+

Well, I ordered it, and 200up/down for 5 dollars less than my old plan is nice.

I swear, it's like Verizon Fios and Verizon Wireless are two different companies.

They stated they did get a note saying they are still obligated for their contract term, so they did not move to "no contract."

Haven't gone live yet, but the order went through. Thanks OP.

I had 100/100 39.99 a month with 6 months remaining on the contract. Autopay with debit. No other services. Hoping this fixes some of the bandwidth problems we've been having when both parents are on video meetings and throwing on a kid's streaming show for the kid for that time.

I've already been on ethernet so hoping it works. My home set up is: FIOS ONT Box --> Ethernet cable from ethernet port --> FIOS Router.

I've been lucky because I've had my basement walls open for a renovation over the past year so I just ran the cable myself. When I installed it I disconnected the coax cable, then called Verizon and asked that they provision the ONT to activate the ethernet port.

I'm paying that price for 100 but hesitant to upgrade in case anything goes wrong on the transition to Ethernet since were all working from home now lol
