I'd buy this in a second if it was 10 keyless.

What gamer wants a number pad attached to the keyboard and pushing their mouse further away from center?

Many do. One of the best aspects of PC gaming over consoles is individuality.

I've been PC gaming since the early 90's and the first thing I do with games is change the default keybinds. Instead of using WASD I use the arrow keys and Numpad for FPS games. I've always found using the left side of the keyboard to be clumsy and awkward. Worse because I have large fingers.

And I do a lot of other stuff than just play games and those other keys are very helpful in those situations as well.

Is there a specific name for what these equivalent blue switches are called?

Cherry-clone or just the specific manufacturer's name: Gateron [gateron.com], Otemu (made by Dongguan Gaote Electronics Co.), Kaih [kailhswitch.com], etc...

Basic Mech KB 101 [dygma.com]

Expect most of these ultra cheap mechanical keyboards to have Outemu switches. Fortunately, one customer review on Amazon from April 2020 confirms that the "latest revision" has Outemu brand switches.

Funny you say that cause I currently game on a tenkeyless and really miss the numpad's functionality. Even works wonders for stuff like flying controls in GTA instead of using the dreaded mouse to fly

I was going to say, for GTA alone having a numpad is required. Not to mention the whole 'i have a corporate job' thing

You're looking for this then.

https://www.amazon.com/Redragon-K...B016MAK38U

Just a tad more expensive than the OP's KB, but much more well reviewed. I recently got 2 of them (K551 versions with the 10 key as I also use it for work) and couldn't tell much of a difference compared to my Corsair K70. I put the Corsair away because the kids started homeschooling and I didn't want them trashing my expensive KB! The Redragons are really good for the price!

1 gripe about the Redragon is the lack of a built in palm rest. If you're in the market for a mouse, the Redragon M601 mouse is great too. I've been using it for years now (picked up 2 more actually when homeschooling started) and have stopped buying $50+ logitech mouses. I did recently get the G502, but that was i think $20 on sale!

Why has no one upvoted this?
Because it's garbage. The RGB isn't even real, each row only lights up 1 color like the picture. This is not a deal. Here is a better keyboard that is the same with outemu switches for $50 full 104 key but has true RGB https://www.amazon.com/TECWARE-Me...B076YHBQYJ (not available rn because of covid, but was there a week ago so check back on it later). I personally like this one more than red dragon and others because they let you choose the switch color and it's hot swappable and there is no ugly logo

Reddragon also sells this exact same stuff on Amazon at these prices as their normal price so this is no sale.

I got this one before. I find it loud but nonetheless satisfying.
