I thought this deal is pretty slick. Found it higher at dicks and amazon. Ended up getting one for camping/ outdoor cooking.

How's the quality on this? Would like to buy one for camping, but don't want something flimsy and unstable.

I own one. It is pretty great for tailgating or car camping, especially if you also purchase the griddle top.

It's not flimsy at all. Heavy duty and good stuff .

Camp Chef is a top brand for stoves. This unit has (2) 30,000 btu burners. For comparison, a standard Coleman propane stove is (2) 10,000 btu burners.
Great stove!

I have never seen the 3 burner from Costco go on clearance. I always wait for it as well but never happens.

i have had one for 2 years now.

I would not stand on it; but it is not as flimsy as you would think. It's heavy too. i recently got the griddle top for it and it weighs probably 100lbs+ combined.

On its own it weighs ~35lbs .

I love this thing. its great for cooking for large groups 8 or 10+ we go car camping a coupe time a year and it always goes with us. it could certainly be used for a picnic as well.

10/10 i would definitely buy it at this price.

This things are pretty awesome - have friends who bring one to camping. Only issue is none existent simmer and that's ok since it's used to cook stuff for 10+ ppl

My MIL uses this for outside cooking on a daily. I rebought her one during the BF Dick's sale for 75. I would say the quality of the knobs are not as good as the one I bought 5 years ago. Everything else is the same. It get's the job done. Can't complain.

Owners, do you find the back and side walls limiting in terms of the size of the cookware that can be used?

FWIW I'm interested in using this for a decent sized wok.
