As soon as some of the restrictions lift, head to a beauty supply store and check out their selection of clippers, which is where the barbers and stylists shop.

I prefer the cordless to corded (both farm and personal) for the maneuverability. It is really nice not to have to fight with a cord.
The guard colors are bright and make it easy to know you've got the right size clipper, if you've ever fumbled through a bunch of guards that are all one color (like my wired pair) you'd know this is a nice convenience (sorry, colorblind folks). Per SonnyS comment, I have had no issue with the guards falling off. They clip tight into place, so maybe SonnyS got a bum pair, or maybe isn't snapping them all the way into place (in which case, they would fall right off as soon as pressure is applied)
This pair is significantly lighter than a corded clipper. At first I was worried if it would have enough power (or if it was a toy). It has been fine, and in fact is easier to handle.
Now with quarantine, I've been doing my own haircut regularly, and my wife has even had me give her 2 haircuts now (shhh).
I don't own any stock or personal interest in Wahl, but have had a mix of Wahl and other brands over the years, and I think these are great for a casual home user.
