Decent clippers, price was 25.99 when I bought them in December, I cut my hair twice a month and so far haven't had any issues.

I've used Wahl hair clippers for 20 years. Great quality in my experience. I don't own this particular model, but highly recommend the brand.

I've been shaving my head with clippers for close to 10 years now, and I'd recommend buying an Andis clipper, not Wahl (understood about desperation though). I've had two Andis clippers over that time frame, both wireless rechargeables. The only reason that I have a second one is that I dropped the first one on tile, and the metal comb broke at the corner, which I don't consider the fault of Andis.

As soon as some of the restrictions lift, head to a beauty supply store and check out their selection of clippers, which is where the barbers and stylists shop.

I also bought this on an earlier (and cheaper) slickdeal, over a year ago. I've also had corded clippers for my own hair, and we use both corded and cordless commercial clippers made for livestock on our farm. These are far superior to the commercial cordless clippers we bought, to the extent that my wife asked if she could just use these for the animals (I said no, but I'd watch for the next deal on these).

I prefer the cordless to corded (both farm and personal) for the maneuverability. It is really nice not to have to fight with a cord.

The guard colors are bright and make it easy to know you've got the right size clipper, if you've ever fumbled through a bunch of guards that are all one color (like my wired pair) you'd know this is a nice convenience (sorry, colorblind folks). Per SonnyS comment, I have had no issue with the guards falling off. They clip tight into place, so maybe SonnyS got a bum pair, or maybe isn't snapping them all the way into place (in which case, they would fall right off as soon as pressure is applied)

This pair is significantly lighter than a corded clipper. At first I was worried if it would have enough power (or if it was a toy). It has been fine, and in fact is easier to handle.

Now with quarantine, I've been doing my own haircut regularly, and my wife has even had me give her 2 haircuts now (shhh).

I don't own any stock or personal interest in Wahl, but have had a mix of Wahl and other brands over the years, and I think these are great for a casual home user.

Wahl has nearly sold out of their other model clippers on Amazon. I went with a Surker cordless because it uses a Li ion battery (and was available), even though my gut tells me I would have been better off to get a corded clipper. I have a feeling my ball cap is going to be making some appearances on conference calls.

Wanted to get a cordless after missing the Wahl pro SD earlier - but this looks junky/ underpowered based on previous SD threads.

I have had this exact model for 19 months, and it is perfectly fine. I use it about every two weeks to cut my head hair and shorten chest, arm, etc. hair. I don't expect it to last over a decade, but it looks and works like new after almost 2 years. This is my second wireless clipper, and I really like it- lightweight, but definitely worth every penny in my opinion. It might not be "heavy duty" enough for shearing sheep, but I don't know what else one would want in a cordless. I have never had one of the attachments fall off on this model- but my previous cordless did have that problem (I honestly don't remember the make/model of the old one).

This has been in my save-for-later cart for months, can't ever find it available to purchase. Thanks!
