For me, the better deal is direct through Ring, same 84.99 price, but you get an additional free battery (Code: FREEBATTERY ). I do not integrate alexa to anything, so I do not need the Echo.

$8.33 a month gets you unlimited cameras central Station alarm monitoring and lifetime replacement on ring equipment. That is a freaking steal.
Thanks. Repped.

I have so many echos from these bundled deals it's ridiculous so I didn't need the echo

I went with the the Ring deal with free battery. Note that if u want multiple you have to place multiple orders. Free battery only applies to first battery. I placed 2 orders, they came out to $90 each for 1 cam and 1 extra battery.

I have the doorbell and 2 floodlights. It works pretty well. My only issue is the sound quality when trying to speak through any of the cams but that doesn't bother me much because I rarely need it for that purpose.

Does a good job monitoring front door (doorbell) , driveway & backyard (floodlights). I got these stick ups for blind spots in yard to watch kids.

It works very well with echo show 8. If anyone rings the bell, it will automatically pull up camera. If I say show me drive way it pulls up. I assume these stick ups will work the same so should work well to watch over our playground.

Yeah I bought a pack of 3 with extra battery from QVC a couple of weeks ago. I might have gone with this deal had that not happened earlier

Does it work with an internal memory stick or... ? Any way to avoid cloud subscription charges?

This show what you get with no subscription, $3 for Basic and $10 for Plus per month, slightly cheaper if you pay 1 year. No internal memory.

I have the battery version mounted outdoors and have been very pleased. Getting about 2+ months of battery life, but have the motion sensor set so it only goes off 5-6 times a day. Set up was a breeze.

No internal memory. Paid $60 for a year of cloud and it stores 30 days.

True. But I thought all I needed to do was sign up for Protect Plus. I did that in March. I found out this pas weekend that I wasn't monitored. I had to activate monitoring from the phone app. I had added Protect Plus from the ring.com web site.

Had no idea that did NOT mean I am not monitored. I waited for the local municipality form to be sent and never got one. I was helping my uncle set up his security system (added to already running 3 popup cams) and realized that I did not enable monitoring.

It should all be automatic when you sign up for protect plus in my opinion.

Id spend more money and get a 2nd generation plug in.

2nd generation plug in is nearly the same(if not the exact same) as their new Elite camera

Factor in home insurance savings for maintaining an alarm system, and I actually *save* money by subscribing to Ring Alarm.
