Came across a first responder discount for Verizon Fios, this also applies to teachers, nurses and military. The websites are listed below but they are giving an additional $5 off 200Mbps plans, $10 off 400 Mbps plans and $15 off Gigabit plans. These discounts are for both new and current customers.
The Discounts are verified by ID.Me.
As an existing customer I went to the website below, signed in to my, my Verizon account and returned back to check eligiblity. I was then prompted to log onto ID.Me. I was then able to change my plan with the discounted rates. The discounts included the new speed brackets so I went from my old 300 Mbps plan to the 400Mbps for $44.99 saving $10 a month. Additional discounts for linking your phone and FiOS plans still apply. Taxes and rental fees are on top of these prices.

200 Mbps plans $34.99(Additional $5 off for Unlimited Verizon Wireless Customers)
400 Mps plans $49.99(Additional $5 off for Unlimited Verizon Wireless Customers)
Gigabit plans $64.99(Additional $10 off for Unlimited Verizon wireless customers)

Nice, thanks!!

And for those new to ID.ME, I would highly recommend first opening an account with ID.ME, using your email associated with your state license.

And try using your cell phone for establishing your ID.ME account, because I had to send pictures.

Nice deal for those that fit the description and live in a Fios service area.

Thanks OP! Existing FIOS customer here. I upgraded from 100 to 200 keeping same price $39.99 last week from the other SD thread and now today I was able to reduce it to $34.99

Initially I was having difficulty applying the discount but then I opened a new incognito browser and the discounted applied just fine

This is true. Frontier ripped us up in every possible way. Inventing stupid charges like router renting fee even though I own my router modem from Verizon Fios.

They should all get FREE cell service and phones for the duration of the pandemic and its aftermath, along with a case of PPE and disinfectant for themselves and their families, since they're earned it and are at vastly greater risk. Carriers can easily afford it and they deserve it.

Yeah Frontier's pricing is ridiculously higher. Almost makes Xfinity a better option and I cringe when I say that.

I signed up for the $39.99 plan and am waiting to receive my $50 rebate card.

Does anyone know if changing the plan will cancel out the rebate card?

I have seen all discounts offers but nothing for grocery store employees. They also risking their lives to serve people but don't receive much recognition.

I think we tried this before and I couldn't get it because of the autopay discount or something. I tried again and it was trying to renew my contract which I signed up with the 1gb deal way long ago so I didn't go thru with it.

I keep getting a screen that says call the local business office. I chatted with someone who was less than helpful. Frustrating.
