You gotta be that guy, return and buy again. If you paid $4k
Yes. Go for the cheaper set. RP-8000 are raved by both HT and music enthusiasts. Center is also good. Make sure you have enough room for center as thats huge. I have never owned this sub so can't speak to it however if you dont like you can always sell it and get real subs like Monolith, SVS, HSU or Rythmik.
I would advise against purchasing upward firing atmos speakers. You are way better spending money on in-ceiling speakers for Atmos experience. Thats my 2 cents. The new RP series otherwise is great for both HT and music.

1250 for the RP-8000F (pair) and RP-504C. But this might be a better deal. I was on the look put for a receiver as well. Currently have a Denon AVR-S530BT that I got for super cheap but not sure if it's good enough for these speakers

So experts - how would you compare these two options?
Is Atmos worth the hype?
Is the more expensive set so much better for the movies?

Will adorama sell only the front and center speakers at the discounted price or do we need to buy this only as a bundle ? Not sure what the front and center only price comes to ?

In other words you're saying, the cheaper set is a better bang for the buck?

Reach out to them if they can break it otherwise there are authorized Klipsch resellers like acousticsounddesign / worldwidestereo etc that can give you the LCR cheaper than retail stores.
