How much did you pay?
You gotta be that guy, return and buy again. If you paid $4k
Lol I got a pretty nasty deal too (see above) but this might be better with the other items
Is Atmos worth the hype?
Is the more expensive set so much better for the movies?

I would advise against purchasing upward firing atmos speakers. You are way better spending money on in-ceiling speakers for Atmos experience. Thats my 2 cents. The new RP series otherwise is great for both HT and music.
In other words you're saying, the cheaper set is a better bang for the buck?
Yes. Go for the cheaper set. RP-8000 are raved by both HT and music enthusiasts. Center is also good. Make sure you have enough room for center as thats huge. I have never owned this sub so can't speak to it however if you dont like you can always sell it and get real subs like Monolith, SVS, HSU or Rythmik.
Reach out to them if they can break it otherwise there are authorized Klipsch resellers like acousticsounddesign / worldwidestereo etc that can give you the LCR cheaper than retail stores.
