I think Target has 5 or 10 pack black face masks for $15
I bought a pack of these tonight. It looks like someone cut out something vaguely mask shaped from a t-shirt. The ear pieces were just slits on the ends of the single-ply jersey fabric.

I've tried so many and my glasses fog up like crazy. I've tried anti fog spray and that didn't work for me either. Anyone else out there have the same issue? And if so, have you found a mask that works for you?
I have the same issue with most masks I've tried. These are the best ones I've found so far at limiting the fog -- they have the nose wire, fit my face best, and are the most comfortable:

But they're a bit flimsy compared to other cloth masks, and the instructions says to dispose of them after a few uses, so now they're making these, which are supposed to be more re-usable:

Any face masks that aren't behind the ear style? Like ones that go around the head/neck? The ear ones tend to hurt me after only a few minutes.
Lucky brand ones.

These look like they might be the best of the bunch, but it seems like there is no way to pinch the mask over the nose to give a better seal and to prevent fogging of glasses. (EDIT: Sorry, these do have a metal nose bridge.)

I don't care what the CDC says. I wear n95 masks outside and could care less what people think about it. Cloth face masks are a joke! They are a false sense of security in every respect.
I wear will also wear a N95... If I'm in the ER admitting a patient or when I'm seeing my respiratory patients. Simple surgeons mask for the rest of the hospital, and I wear a cloth mask in public. Cloth mask aren't a joke. They reduce the spread of disease, and it is the one way everyone does there part to fight the virus.

Thorlo, the premium sock maker, is making a "high end" reusable. They call it Face Tek, it's got some marketing jargon and questionable features- but they make solid products and stand behind them. Mine arrive Monday, I'll update if I can remember.

Face tek goes under the ears and behind the neck.
Looks like that one exerts pressure on the nose to hold the mask in place. That could be annoying.

It seems that the surgical mask and a cloth mask would offer similar barriers. Do you wear surgical at work primarily because it's disposable or does it have barrier advantages over cloth in a work setting? Are there shortages of the surgical masks for medical providers? I see them for sale everywhere.

Can you cite any research into your claim?
Not needed. This same point of masks reducing transmission has been made and discussed almost daily all over the news by the leading experts in epidemiology.

Thanks for posting. This is looking like the most promising of the bunch.

For those who haven't taken the time to look, Brooks worked with a leading university to produce these. They claim that it'll block "86% of particles of 0.3 microns." I've yet to see any other non-medical mask producer make any claims like that. Although the Covid 19 virus is about .12 microns, as I understand it, the purpose of these masks is to prevent the carrier of the virus (ie spit, sneeze/cough aerosols) from entering your body. Aerosols from sneezes or coughs can be as small as .5 to 3 microns. Spit can be anywhere from 20 to100 microns.

Disclaimer. I'm not trying to promote this as a surefire way to prevent contraction. IMHO it's a smarter buy considering it's ability to block small particles. I am not a scientist or a medical professional. I highly encourage you to do your own research. I'm just trying to share what I've read. Stay safe and healthy.

Fox River makes high quality socks. I've used them for years now with some of my socks being over 10 years old and still in rotation.
They offer a face mask that goes around the head instead of the ears.

I've bought a number of masks from a range of manufacturers. Unsurprisingly, the most expensive of the bunch was the highest quality. Awesome design and should last me through the next several pandemics. https://swrve.us/collections/masks
