Surface Pro 7 Bundle i7/16GB/256GB Bundle Black $1300 Costco Exp. 6/14/20 with Typecover Pen $1299.99

Starting 5/20/20 - 6/14/20 Online at Costco.com (I haven't seen this configuration at any of the local Costco's)
Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Black Bundle (Typecover + Pen)
i7 (10th Gen)/ 16GB / 256GB SSD

Right now it's $1,599.99 - $300 (STARTS 5/20/20) = $1,299.99
Plus, FREE: McAfee Multi Access 1 Year subscription

It looks to be the Black Bundle Only

Feel free to debate if a Surface Pro 7 is a good machine/value or not. A relative asked me to find this config for them and right now this was one of the best prices I could find, backed by Costco peace of mind. It looks like the last time it was this price was around December 2019.
Buying from Costco gives you free 2 Year Concierge Warranty [costco.com]
Correct me if I am wrong but I think buying with Citi Costco Visa doubles the Costco Warranty to 4 Years.

I bought an i5 surface pro 6 last year and I love it.

However, my biggest complaint is that the face camera doesn't rotate in portrait mode. So I have to turn it sideway to have it recognize my face to login (I guess I can turn it sideway to have it learn my face again?) I also appear sideway to other people in viedo conferences. Frown

Also I often got interruptions in wifi connections but I am not sure if it's the surface pro or my router.

That's a great price! From my research there wasn't much of a real world performance difference between the i5 and i7 chips (unless you are using specific programs that would benefit). What were your specs for the memory and SSD? Any increase in memory or SSD size shoots the price up. Also from the reviews I read the Pro 7 has the newer chips but the Pro 6 had better battery life for some reason.

I got the 128gb hdd and 8gb of ram. To be honest I really only wanted a web browsing machine that could cloud game with zero issues and that's what it does perfectly lol. The only gripe I have with it is that it has about 5 to 6 hours of battery at best. Other than that, I'm happy with It.

Glad to hear you like it. Was yours a bundle or just the table?

So what do you use to cloud game? My first thought is Xbox and I've been trying to do this but my SP7 can never find my Xbox and vice versa. Both items are on the same network.

I got one from Bestbuy yesterday for 1299 (no pen) Bestbuy doesn't match Costco member price.

$699 bestbuy i5 is a great deal and brought one home. Used it for a week, and exchanged with i7 yesterday.

Honestly, windows works way smoother in i7 version (may be larger ram) but I prefer electronics with better thermal design (i7 has a fan and i5 doesn't) for a long run.

I prefer to keep i7. Fan actually is a big deal for my applications

I don't think I've ever seen a laptop/tablet deal thread on SD where someone doesn't bring this up. People, there is ALWAYS a new chipset coming. Once King Lake comes out, the same people will post telling you not to buy it and wait for Buffalo Bog or whatever.

I agree with you, people believe a figure of merit to justify any computer purchase the make so benchmark numbers are a way to go.

Tiger king! haha I kill myself.Applause

Things to consider and rock solid reasons (battery life) to wait for a hopefully better surface product...

THE GOOD
Weight 1.6 pounds
Solid performance
Bright and colorful display
Excellent optional keyboard
USB-C port (finally)

THE BAD
Bad battery life
Terrible speakers
No USB-C port thunderbolt support
