Wasn't even shopping for this but grabbed the last Gore-Tex Paclite Stretch Pullover in Dark Storm M. Reviews seem to be solid. Thanks OP.

Wasn't a fan of any of the other colors. Smilie But I'm a bit conservative and prefer the one color style of the dark storm. Just noticed they have a Paclite Stretch 2 Plus that's even lighter...but not on sale just yet.

I'm with you. I don't mind the mixed colors for skiing, hiking... but I was looking for something I could wear when traveling that would look decent around town and still be my go to for hiking, etc. Still love my packable Kor Preshell as well.

I bought one on the last sale. Love it. Keeps me totally dry in Oregon spring rain.

Love Mountain Hardwear gear, my only critique on them is some of their jackets have a non-functional chest pocket. The phones are just too big now a days.

I'm just here to say that between North Face, Patagonia, Columbia, etc, Mountain Hardware makes the best gear and it holds up for decades.

Patagonia still has some solid things (like their* backpacks) but they've gone downhill in recent years. Don't get me started on North Face and it's zippers.

Failing zippers are my favorite thing... I had a zipper fail on an old TNF jacket after like 15 years and they sent me a brand new model as a replacement. I had zippers fail on two Helly Hansen jackets after 10+ years and they put in new zippers and deep cleaned the jackets for free.

That said, I agree with you on much of TNF's stuff. Much of it is fashion items made for wearing around town. However, many of the classics (like the Mountain Jacket) are still solid technical pieces.

For general consistency of quality across their entire line, I agree with you on Mountain Hardwear... my other favorite at this point is Arc'T.

Picked up the Exposure 2 pull over and the "Shacket". I was really hoping for a down hoodie, but only large was available, and I find that while I wear a large t-shirt, a large jacket is always too big.
