I sold my 2017 for $125 and got this one. The difference was about $75 in total. Even if it goes on sale towards the holiday time, it may not drop below $130-$150 if we are lucky and 2017 would've depreciated another $20 or so by then. So all in all, I paid $30-50 more but got hands on the newer model...
Just different way of thinking I guess Smilie

This thing is incredible. I love the AI upscaling. The most important feature for me is using game stream, to stream games from my PC. For a long time I was always disappointed with my 4K monitors HDR performance, but now I can use my kick ass tv to play games from my PC that is in my office.

"Full HD 1080p, 8-inch display, and dual-front facing speakers" wait what? This thing has a screen?

Got one with 10%off on top of the price from Best Buy. If sale price drop on this holiday, I'm ok with it lol

Edit: searched for NAS purpose, works great with Synology, which I'm still waiting for sale price like last BF

Same here, I sold my old one for $160 and I had multiple offers. I got this new one, it's not much of a difference, but smaller remote is pretty cool.

How'd you calculate the difference between $200 and $125 roughly? Lol jk. Yeah great idea.

So this is called the pro, but it's actually more like the original regular version than it is the original pro version?

So I am using Firesticks at the moment but saw this deal and bought it. Can someone tell me why I am going to like this streaming device better? Thanks.
