I bought this sander a few weeks ago from Harbor Freight, it's a decent sander, the reviews are very good, add few bucks you can have HF in-store no-hassle replacement warranty, there is another Dewalt deal post recently, with that price($49) you can buy two of this, surprise that nobody post it, as if slick deal people don't shop at HF. Here is the coupon:

Yes it's a great value but it's not a deal. If it were 30+ percentage off from this normal price then that's be something to post. It's always this price or similar with their various coupons

You can access the vaccum port by removing the dust collector. It'd a basic round port, doesn't swivel like on some of the other more expensive sander.

I will give you a thumbs up.... Not everyone has the money for a BWW, nor do they need one... and after many of the so called frontpage deals, this is as good as a lot of them. After all, you provided the coupon... Smilie

How is the vibration to your hand on this cheap sander?

Bauer is getting a good reputation for a lot of their tools... and their better drill bits are as good or better than the name brands in the box stores with the exception of maybe Bosch cobalt that is going to cost a lot more. Bosch is not any better out of the gate, but they stay sharper longer. And since I am the one that sharpens bits around here....

Thank you, well said. I usually wear gloves and hold it not to push it, the vibration actually is not significantly different from my other sanders.

It 'looks' like many others being sold. HF has some good products and if you wander around, they have over 200 products made in the USA. A lot of their glues, tapes, caulks, even machinery belts are made in the USA and they employ over 20,000 US workers.

They also have US flags made in the USA.... the last three we bought were made in South Carolina.
