nice, so yeah when the USB C dies it's only going to 1.5A charge on the type A port. I'll have to pass on this but thanks for researching. Couldn't find that anywhere.

Edit: built in cable has been going strong, used for tonnnnnsssss of travel
For just 10bucks, I guess we just buy a new one if the cable goes bad.
