What would you expect for an adult scooter?

I think under 16 mph is the max for most areas, right?

Would probably opt for the ES1 gen 2. App, headlight, probably more reliable warranty, bigger battery, better motor for less than $100 more. https://store.segway.com/segway-n...ter-es1-g2

Many escooters can break 25mph, and are sold domestically.

You need a 500w motor for inclines. 250w should do around 7-9mph on steep stretches. This isn't safe if cars are flying by at 25+.

25 mph on a scooter sounds suicidal to me.

Look on YouTube. People do 40mph and greater on 2000w scooters. Dualtron, Mantis, 11x Zero, etc.

I'm not saying anyone needs that, just that they're available. I limit mine to 14mph, even though 21 is its peak.

Meh...modified minipros can go 17. I think scooters that go 25 - 35 (1,500 to 2,000 watt scooters easily hit that) are probably safer since they can accelerate faster and take higher degree inclines.

Are the tires pheumatic or nonpneumatic?

I've owned 4 scooters. I'm 6 foot 4, 235 pounds.

I'm not sure if you're lighter, but if you've over 200 pounds get a 500 watt scooter. Even if you don't use the top speed, the acceleration is much better. If you're ever coming from a dead stop at the bottom of a hill, you'll want a bit more torque.

Nanrobot Electric scooter X4 500W with the seat is my favorite. I'm tall so I don't like the high center of gravity and bending knees hurts after a mile or two. Sure, it might look dumb, but let me sit.
