Had to "settle"? Ultra strong is far superior to ultra soft IMHO. Ultra soft shreds too easily.

Didn't hoard either. I did have quite a few rolls because I purchased at Costco and Target when they had deals since the in-law doesn't like to run low on TP so I always had a healthy stock. Was running too low for her liking so I had to just order this since I haven't been out to look for them at the stores, plus not that many deals on TP nowadays.

Costco seems to always have TP when I go but it's their Kirkland brand only.

I've been meaning to try that one. The wife and in-law swear they will only use Ultra Soft but they've never tried Ultra Strong and I've heard good things about it.

They had a huge sale on this at Costco back in January, so I think we were stocked up for the year anyway. Amazing how it went from "here's a huge sale on it" to "LIMIT ONE PER CUSTOMER IF IT"S EVEN IN STOCK".
