Still think no deal and if you do want a low end saw or maybe even a quite better one your local Craigslist might be the ticket. In my area there are quite few listings and saws of this caliber can sometimes be found free or be had for about $50. One listing has two Ryobis table saws and a Sears miter saw for $200. They are the type of products that don't hold value and end up stuck in someones garage and can be had very cheap. You are basically buying with not much or any warranty anyway get in after the retail markup for a deal.
I wish my Craigslist had good prices. People around me think their old tools are made of gold.

I'm in central Maryland and generally Craigslist stuff around here is high but looking at saws and such I was a bit surprised at the fairly low prices.

If anyone is thinking about getting this but not sure why, don't get it. Cheap new table saws suck. Either bump up for a nice new contractor table saw at the $600+ price point (Delta 36-725T2 or Rigid R4520) or pay $100-$200 for a nice used Craftsman 113, Delta, Jet or Rigid belt-driven contractor saw off Craigslist. These inexpensive jobsite saws are mediocre at best and a legitimate danger at worst. They're all cheap, wobbly, noisy, poorly made. To think about getting a jobsite you'd want a nice Bosch or Dewalt but that's the price of a full size saw so there's no point unless you're on the go or space is an absolute premium.

So I just found about this deal as I purchased this a week ago in-store.
I'm a home DIYer. Has it met my needs? Yes. Do I have experience? No.
Am I scared? Hell yes using it lol.
Respect the blade! But, carrying this thing around the house is a huge hassle without wheels.
Would the Bosch/DeWalt/Ridgid be a better buy for double the price...maybe safer usage?

Tighter tolerances, solid and rigid fences, accurate and tight miter slots and gauges all increase safety greatly. The big danger with a table saw is kickback or pinching of the work piece. A little wiggle or shift can end up catastrophe and that is more likely to happen when the parts are not up to par. Not trying to alarm you and use and have used similar saws but just be aware of the limitations. For ripping and if if the fence stays in position it will do what you need to do. Just don't push it with trying to do to large or heavy of pieces. Build a miter sled to increase accuracy and safety and you may be surprised at what you can get done. But always keep in mind that table saws are dangerous machines and be careful and aware at all times.
