Really good price but how do returns work, I hear green toe is a middle man for sellers. So if I have a problem with the TV, do I return to green toe or do I return to the seller?
FYI.... When you buy it through GT, it's yours. No free returns unless damaged.
The good news is... That's a badass TV. Bought it in January for $1699+tax.
"When you place an offer the amount that you offer will be the total amount that you pay. Whether or not you are charged tax will depend on the specific item and the retailers selling it. When your offer is accepted, sometimes tax will be itemized and deducted from the total you are charged (e.g. if the retailer charges tax) and sometimes it will not be included at all (e.g. if the retailer doesn't charge tax in your state). Regardless of the situation you will never be charged more than the amount that you offer.
If your offer is not accepted right away and we send you a counter-offer, we will outline for you if the retailer that submitted the counter-offer includes tax or does not include tax. For example we might say that you got a counter of $1647.21 , and then underneath say "Please Note: Your counter offer is actually $1550 but the retailer charges tax in PA. Your final price after tax is $1647.21." Please take this into consideration when comparing our pricing. Most other retailers do not show the after tax pricing up front the way we do and you only see the tax at the very end, we show you the after tax price at the beginning."
Really tempted at this price since the X950G is still $2499. Has anyone directly compared both? Most reviews say they are similar, other than the 75" G having the wide angle filter on the screen.

The 900F has an awful OS of that matters to you. The 950G is much better with its apps

If apps matter get something like a nividia shield, even the best of devices will be massively cheaper than getting the 950g over this, and that device will also be massively more powerful and versatile over not having one.

Yea i think "actual performance" is VERY similar between the 2 but the major differences are that the 950G is an upgraded chip for the OS so it's snappier and it's also an upgraded X1 chip for postprocessing. 900F is X1 Extreme and 950G is X1 Ultimate.
Can't tell if this is even a good price anymore. Greentoe themselves have offered this very model for cheaper before. Add that there are price slashes happening apparently everywhere, would it be far fetched to assume it will happen for this TV as well?
I want to buy it. But I just don't know anymore. First world problems I suppose.

I bit... After missing out on the previous deal which was I think $28 less, I took it. No tax, shipping was worth it, even if big box or Amazon still would have tax. If I waited for cheaper or 950 to come down I would end up waiting for ever. My search is done, hopefully I get a good panel and no issues. Not sure this helps.
