I have the Big Bite #8 and hands down it's the best meat grinder I've ever owned. If you grind chicken bones for your dog's food then go with #12 or bigger.

a couple of reviewers said the inside of the holes were rusting after 1 use. there are different grades of stainless steel and the lower grade will rust.

I've ground tons of deer with my $100 gander mountain grinder, planning to upgrade this year. Planning on at least a #12. This is a great deal though.

Compare to kitchen aid grinder attachment. Which one is better? 0.5 HP may be weaker than my mixer.
