HIghly recommend - wore these everyday at work for the past year. Excellent toe space and the softest, cushiest outsole ever. Mine still look brand new also. For those unfamiliar, this is a "zero drop" shoe, which will work your calves a little harder and cause some soreness at first. But after 2 weeks adjustment I was fine.
The coupon only took $2 off. There was no option for free shipping.
If you proceed all the way to checkout you will see an economy $0 shipping option.
Snagged one for the wife, couldn't find a color of her choice in the previous deal from a couple of weeks ago. I cant believe jackrabbit keeps getting Altras at a low price - $68.81 including taxes shipped to CA, a SD for sure.
I got these on the last deal. They're...fine. If you love Altras for their wide forefoot and have noticed the tightening of the forefoot in recent models, this shoe continues that trend. For most people, it might even be an improvement. For me, it's a little snug.
The upper on the original Escalante was so soft and sock-like that I've rolled the whole shoe under my foot a couple of times. They were wonderful for running on even terrain, but any degree of side slope caused problems. These don't have that problem. The upper is a bit stiffer, adding an ounce to the weight of each shoe and making it less comfortable, but improving the lateral stability.

I'm keeping mine and hope to grow to love them.
