After plenty of threads dealing with mattress toppers, I am very pleased with the 3" latex topper I bought.

Be sure to get the cover for it as well.

Not the original commenter but I also have a latex topper. If I am being totally honest, these memory foam toppers are pretty much a waste of money. They wear out extremely quick and from the start they aren't much better than the average cheap mattress.

There are cheaper latex toppers available but overall they're worth the money. Especially because a 3" topper can be put on any old worn out mattress and make it miles better. If you have a good mattress to start, you can go with a 2".

I got a 12-in memory foam Zinus or something And it is held up well. I got a very small mattress topper that is sewn into a fitted sheet and it adds just enough softness back to the life of the mattress which has been basically holding my fat ass up for three or four or five years at this point. I actually don't mind adding new layers on top because the sheets seem to fit better because of the go higher and I don't mind sleeping on something that's super soft and has the consistency of porridge. But I would like to get a gel topper because of my understanding of its heat wicking availability.

Can anybody comment on this regarding its ability to stay cool? In the alternative, since people are talking about latex toppers in the thread, what is their ability to stay cool?

This is a good deal. When I checked for a memory foam topper a month ago, for 3" the cheapest queen I could find was $70. Some offer cheapo foam or cheapo foam+memory for cheaper, but thats not what this is.

Personally I think a good bed> a foam topper, but if youre looking for a temporary solution to an issue, this is a good deal.

I believe a local lawyer is running an ad about your brand of mattress having an issue with glass inside it and anyone that owns one to call his office about receiving compensation. It's a lawyer out of Belleville Il. Name might be Queto? Sorry my memory not more accurate. The ad just ran once on tv last week

Good price, but a number of amazon reviews complain that it rips easily. Also a surprising number of people complain about being in more pain after using it than before. So I don't blame you if you want to give it a try since the price is good, but just fyi..

Are these comfortable enough to just lay on the floor for guests or to use as a Tatami matress or are they too thin?
