Lol you clicked on the wrong post mate. Also you shouldn't be using slickdeals cuz it seems like you're a bit mislead. these are for actual music listeners lol

yes, for sure. w80 is more balanced/close to neutral. w60 is more of the sweet or warm side... i actually prefer w60.

I listen to my UM1 set almost every night... Almost pulled the trigger on the W40, but can't justify it yet... Hopefully we'll see this deal again when the time is right, since it seems to come up every couple of months or so.

Does anyone use these to workout or do cardio? I'd love a nice sounding earphone for bike rides

How are these compared to Sony 1000-xm3 and Sennhieser earbuds?

Waiting for the W60s to be restocked and on sale again. I tried this entire range. The B50 and B30 are too veiled. The W40 is bass light but otherwise a very smooth, musical sound. Comfort is best of any IEM I've ever tried.

Of the "W" lineup, which one should I be targeting, and at what price?

Some background on me... My ears are pretty average (middle age, light tinnitus), but I'm a lifelong musician and still a very careful / critical listener. I typically prefer as transparent / flat / even of a sound as I can get, with plenty of detail, and a wide soundstage.

I've got a set of Massdrop 6xx that I use with a V20, and like the combination very much. I just don't use those often because most of my listening is when going to bed, and full size headphones don't work in that situation.

I picked up my set of Westone UM1s on the cheap over a year ago, and they're the most comfortable set I've found for sleeping. So, if I could combine that form factor and proprietary tip design with a similar audio output to the 6xx, I think I'd be really happy.

Any suggestions / feedback would be much appreciated!

Long distance off road biker here. Heavy sweat and sometime moderate rain are concerns. Is the IP rating on any these enough? Also, coming from the Jabra Elite Active 65t's and being satisfied with the balance in them, would I be more inclined to go for the B30 or W40?
