How many times are you buying 3 similar items and returning 2? Dudes like you ruin a generous return policy for the rest of us.
Displayport 1.2 limits the display to 120hz if you want to use 10 bit color. If you want 144hz or 165Hz you need to drop to 8 bit color. For most people it should be a non-issue but depending on your usage you might need 10 bit
1.2 is the version standard of Display Port tech used. There are a few newer versions (1.3, 1.4, 2.0) but for 1440p at 144 Hz 1.2 is all they needed. If it were 4K-8K or 240Hz you'd need the higher version #'s. I think the manufacturer uses whatever version they need to cover the specs they built the panel for.

Ha. Yeah. That's how I found this one. I was looking at the Dell deal and this was under "People ultimately bought..."
Major points for me:
Dell: $380 ($70 off), 32"... but VA and 4 ms
Omen: $400 ($100 off), 27"... but IPS and 1 ms

I'm more excited about this one. It's got great reviews and checks all the boxes since it's IPS.

Today I received the LG 27GL83A-B I ordered from Amazon and the screen was cracked like a spiderweb. I was extra frustrated because of how long and how many times I had to check every day for them to come back into stock and it took them over a week to ship it to me.

As I was waiting in line at the UPS store to return it this deal popped up on my phone, I went home and did some quick research. According to Reddit this is the same screen that the much loved LG 850 uses only with a better stand so I bought it and am using it right now. Previously I had been using an 11 year old Samsung IPS so the difference is staggering.

Thanks OP!

Nice. And $50 cheaper than the LG 850 too.

I bought this monitor from BB last week. I got my price match today. I bought this, the HP omen x27 and the LG27GL850. The 27i is the perfect middle of the 2. It has the look of the x27 but with the same IPS panel as the LG. It looks great, has some RBG if you're into that, and has a 165hz refresh and super low input lag. I'm returning the x27 and the LG in favor of this one. $399 is an absolute STEAL for this monitor.

The only con is that the vesa mount is diamond shaped and not square. This makes it so I can't swivel the screen on my mount since the diamond configuration blocks that function.
