Ha. Yeah. That's how I found this one. I was looking at the Dell deal and this was under "People ultimately bought..."
Major points for me:
Dell: $380 ($70 off), 32"... but VA and 4 ms
Omen: $400 ($100 off), 27"... but IPS and 1 ms
I'm more excited about this one. It's got great reviews and checks all the boxes since it's IPS.
As I was waiting in line at the UPS store to return it this deal popped up on my phone, I went home and did some quick research. According to Reddit this is the same screen that the much loved LG 850 uses only with a better stand so I bought it and am using it right now. Previously I had been using an 11 year old Samsung IPS so the difference is staggering.
Thanks OP!

1.2 is the version standard of Display Port tech used. There are a few newer versions (1.3, 1.4, 2.0) but for 1440p at 144 Hz 1.2 is all they needed. If it were 4K-8K or 240Hz you'd need the higher version #'s. I think the manufacturer uses whatever version they need to cover the specs they built the panel for.

Nice. And $50 cheaper than the LG 850 too.

The only con is that the vesa mount is diamond shaped and not square. This makes it so I can't swivel the screen on my mount since the diamond configuration blocks that function.
How many times are you buying 3 similar items and returning 2? Dudes like you ruin a generous return policy for the rest of us.
