Okay, I just compared them for you and what sticks out is the QF has Dolby Vision, HLG, and Dolby Atmos (simulated of course). The F50 is $199.95 right now so if you don't need these features...

Dolby licenses aren't cheap which is why the F50 tv is missing them, but it does have DTS-X.

Would love to know what the differences are between the F50 and QF series. Almost no credible reviews of the QF from anyone who's also looked at the F50 series.

You guys put entirely too much thought into buying a $240 TV. It works, it has smart TV capabilities etc - any other concerns is just over thinking IMO.

I purchased one to put out in the lanai—not expecting too much, considering the price of $240. I also added the extended warranty, which covers any issues for the next four years. That brings the net cost to about $5 per month over the 4 years, which seems quite reasonable.

I think you did very well for the intended usage and locked in 4 years of service.

Yeah, but we're comparing it to the latest Sony or Samsung QLED/OLED since it's apples to apples comparison.

I have this TV. I bought it because it is as cheap as a QLED TV gets.

With that said, I have never noticed ghosting on any TV I have ever had until I bought this one.
I would avoid it at all costs. It is very distracting when watching sports such as MMA and when someone throws a punch you can see their arm from prior frames. Even moderate movements like someone moving their hand to pick up something results in heavy ghosting.
