According to a Google search for the model number, installed ram is 8gb, max ram 16gb. Same model number https://m.cdw.com/product/hp-sb-4...wp/6065592

That model can have 16gb as well. I did a bit digging before posting and checked other vendor sites for that model. Colamco is also selling this exact model with specified 16gb of memory. Check the link below.
https://www.colamco.com/product/h...ba-1935715
The manufacture brochure is probably a very old one with bad info. See that the memory speed is mentioned as 2400 MHz and if you check official HP product spec for 445 G7 you can see that it does not even have any option apart from 3200 MHz memory.

Looks like this model comes both in 8gb (4gbx2) and 16gb (8gbx2) configuration because there are other sites as well, apart from Provantage and Colamco, listing this go have 16gb of memory.

Odd this is down voted to -7 score. 4700U with 16 gigs of ram and expandable (rare these days), vega 7 in 14" form factor. Reasonable compared to intel counter part for the price? Besides to me the more Ryzen 4000 laptops I see on SD the more excited I am (finally some competition). More importantly with a 16g RAM (thats slim pickings in 4000 series currently in US).

I have to say one thing I did not like is 250 nits display.

Outdated design is let down for most of the people I guess. Small battery size but 1000nits panel is good. I have mixed feelings about this model. Their envy x360 AMD model (which bestbuy sells) wasn't good either. Let's hope their gaming model with Renoir comes out good at least.

Yes, the new Ryzen chip are good but we don't need to start posting every MSRP deal.

I down voted because of incorrect information - not the RAM but about Free Shipping, its not free.

This is not MSRP. Go to hp site and try to configure with similar spec and what the price comes out.
