Compact Laser All-in-One Printer with Single-pass Duplex Copy and Scan, Wireless and NFC (Refurbished)
$179.99 - $20 (instant rebate) - $8 (enter coupon "cart5" at checkout) = $152 + tax
My brother inkjet heads got clogged and after unsuccessful cleaning attempts, had to get me another printer - preferably one without inkjets...
This all-in-one has DUPLEX SCANNING which is worth the money imo if you need to scan double sided pages.

How is the condition of these refurb models?
Kinda makes you wonder on why they have so manny returns and refurbs.
Reviews show this model is a lackluster.

I have this AIO and it's been working great. Probably the cheapest unit that can scan to email and do duplex scan.
Also very easy to setup, has fast prints and fantastic quality scan. I got mine from Staples.
I picked up at same price last week, I don't see problem with it. It's practically like new, works perfectly for me.
Text Quality
The MFC-L2750DW scored a 5 on our text quality test. This made it decidedly mediocre, as scores in this metric fell between 3 and 8. Characters produced by the MFC-L2470DW looked somewhat inconsistent. Most areas looked dark and bold, but they were interspersed with tiny white blotches that reduced the overall clarity, This text was still much crisper than the lower scoring models, but lacked some of the precision of text from the top scorers.
However, spending a little bit more can get you the much better graphics quality and color printing of the HP Color LaserJet Pro M281fdw.

Most of the time, refurbs are returned open boxes from people that either found they didn't their needs, or they needed some other kind of features. I bought one of these just a couple of weeks ago from the brother site. It arrived in perfect condition with a total of about 30 pages on the master Prince counter. On top of that, it came with a brand new toner and drum combination cartridge, as well as the original drum minus the toner cartridge still installed in the printer, so I wound up with essentially an extra almost-new new drum unit.
These are terrific printers, being descended from the same print engine on two of my other printers that have been work horses . and this particular scanner head is incredibly versatile. Among other things, it can auto feed stacks of photos down to 4 x 6, which is not common.
