It's amazing how one children's book and author can have a lasting and positive impact on the world greater than thousands of politicians combined.
A bit of trivia about the book:
- Yertle was based on Adolph Hitler—Seuss had originally drawn him as an editorial cartoon for a New York newspaper in March of 1942
- The use of the word "burp" was highly controversial at the time. Oh how things have changed
Couple of other kids apps are free for a limited time too.
