I was really hoping to buy the 1440p verison of this off amazon, but before I could learn the difference between an IPS and VA and make my decision the thing dropped off the face of the planet. Might have to jump on this one - who knows what monitors will be in stock in an hour. thanks for the in-stock alert.

I agree with Gibscreen. Refresh rate is far more important for me than resolution because the games I play don't care about that high res. After going to 144hz, there's no way I could justify buying any monitor at 60hz. It feels so choppy for every game

Not everyone plays first person shooters. Some people play RPGs or action games. With FreeSync and 1ms response time, it's a gaming monitor to many.
can someone tell me if a 60hz vs 144hz monitor makes a difference if you're using the same settings? i built a pretty low end pc but got in on the amazon deal, now wondering if it's even worth using the monitor i got? sorry, super noob at
this.

ABSOLUTELY!!!
Now, I do see diminishing returns when you get past 144 but you'll never go back.

They had a 24" 75hz one at 1440p https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0...0DER&psc=1
Pretty much no info on it anywhere online.
4k, why do people say this every time. It's a gaming monitor for a different market.
