Flying to Cuba for tourism is not allowed, however there are 13 acceptable travel reasons. Among them are family visits, US Government business, journalism, humanatarian or educational activities, professional research or meetings, support for the Cuban people.

American Airlines have round trip airfares travelling from Los Angeles (LAX) to Havana Cuba (HAV) for $187, making 1 stop. These are main cabin, regular economy fares, however not a flexible-change ticket. If you think your travel plans will change, you might look into adding trip insurance.

Interjet Airlines, a low-cost Mexican air carrier, have their round trip airfares at $124.

Beautiful city (Havana), one if the nicest beaches I've been to (Varadero), and some of the nicest and friendliest people. But it was sad going around spending cash knowing that it wasn't going to the people. Most of them want out, but can't afford it. Also, definitely not a "cheap" place to travel, cause they charge different inflated prices for foreigners.

Thanks, what kind of prices we talking about? On par with Mexico?
