Btw if you search the history for any "700w gold" or "750w gold" you'll struggle to find examples, because these sell out faster than you can shake a stick at them.

I posted another PSU yesterday and asked mods to delete it because why bother, it was gone 5 minutes after I posted it. Though probably we should keep these in history so we see just how pricey they are lately, since any deals from early 2020 and from 2019 are of zero comparison at this point.

If you need this much power, and don't want a cheap PSU, this is a reasonable deal and you'll probably have it in 1.5 to 2 weeks. Frown (and you can cancel or return if you find something better, as it's sold by Amazon)

True, currently PSU's rpcies are through the roof. I recently bought an 650w PSU from amazon for about 150$. Smilie

Its usual retail price is around 90, I don't see how this is even a deal to be posted here...=_=
I saw the CM MasterWatt 750W semi-modular one for 55.82 at midnight of the 18th, but it ran out so fast!

Good PSUs are very hard to find, constantly out of stock, and I mentioned the price history details in the OP. You can check honey/CCC but regardless PSUs are not well stocked and at best you're seeing deals on Bronze or White supplies. Because it was Amazon I chose to post it, but most great deals I've seen last only 5 minutes and by the time I or someone else would try to post, they are OOS already.

Ugh, I am really suffering from sticker shock seeing these PSU prices lately. Anyone want to guess when they will come back down to earth?

Nice find, OP....its quite tempting.

Power supplies are one of the items on the 25% tariffs on China list. A full 25% of the cost is going to the government and thats before state and local taxes. So up to 1/3 of the price is tax these days. That $90 you pay for a power supply... up to $30 might be taxes.

I do think more expensive goods sucks, but you should also listen to Kyle Bass give an interview at length, beyond the advertising length segments on legacy media, and you'll gain a perspective on China that's really insightful.

Trying to find a PSU for a friend's build and I was expecting $30-40 for a decent now it looks like $60-70 Frown
