Broski, the two panels are NOT the same. The 22'' panel is VA while the 24'' Acer is TN. The difference is night and day when it comes to viewing angles, especially in portrait mode. NEVER choose TN if you can get VA or IPS. Just set up any VA or IPS panel next to a TN and look at the display from an angle. You'll see how bad TN really is.

If you're a broke ass gamer and stare at the screen at the perfect height dead center, it probably won't matter as much for you, but if you're buying this for work, especially with reading involved, stay the hell away from TN!!! I can't stress this enough.

You might be able to add $4 item and use the $20 off @100+ (code 35575, from other thread).

Not a good choice with those thick, ugly bezels for dual monitor setups.

Does it (V246HQL UM.UV6AA.C06) have TÜV Rheinland Certification? Acer site (https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/con...essential) shows that UV6AA.C02 has TUV certification but https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/con....UV6AA.C06 doesn't say anything about this

Is it a good idea to use a 24" and 21" monitor side by side for home office. I have a IPS 24 inch and colors might be weird between the two?

TN don't even provide much of a lower price point to justify the lower performance anyways. I've noticed that VA are slightly interior to IPS but TN is way worse

This basically. I wouldn't say VA is inferior. For smaller, flat panels, VA offers deeper blacks without sacrificing too much (as you won't have to deal with viewing angles that accompany extended panels and curvatures). I personally prefer IPS though, since color fidelity is important to me. Smilie

24" for $60 is perfect. All this BS about monitors is funny. A cheap monitor hooked up to my laptop to keep additional pages open in a portrait format. This should be perfect.

Items (1): $89.99
Coupons (1): -$30.00
Subtotal: $59.99
Shipping: FREE
Estimated Tax: $3.60
Total: $63.59

This is a disposable monitor like the printers of today. As for the gamers, I assume it all depends on how much lighting is in Moms basement.
