I actually thought Dragon Age 1 and 2 were one of the best written RPG games. I actually laughed hard on some sripts and amused with the choices that I can make. (I still remember the one where instead of helping the guy whose wife is cheating, i decided to sleep with her. Something I would never do in real life, but why not in RPG. yeah it's inconsequential choice but it's fun)
The version posted here (from GOG) should be DRM free so no Origin needed.

Is there any way to play this game without Origin?
It makes me sign in EVERY time I turn the computer on and I finally got fed up and deleted it after the 1000th login with the stay logged in option clicked.

You should be able to disable Origin as a start up item.

It's a long boring attempt to claim it's a baldurs/torment throw back.
Bioware's claim is story and choices...look at swtor if you think they know anything about plot and choice. All Stories are linear with fake choice and boring.
I'm not hating, I'm playing swtor right now...but it's the action/combat that draws me.
What are you talking about, this game got universal praise.

I can say that Dragon Age 1 + Inquisition, Mass Effect Trilogy (and Bioshock series) were my best games on the previous generation (XBOX360, PS3). Their critics are also super good.

If you haven't played Awakenings it's a pretty big DLC... definitely worth 5 bucks.
