You are comparing two different versions of "longer".

Using extensions from the drill to the lugnut doesn't add any leverage at all. In fact, the extra length just allows for more twisting, which demands more power to get same amount of torque (its simply the fact that the twisting causes some power loss... Imagine using a rubber screwdriver to turn a screw 😂).

"Longer" on a breaker bar adds LEVERAGE, which is why it's so much easier to turn a screw/bolt with a ratchet vs. a screwdriver (the ratchet handle adds leverage).

Fun physics fact - if you double (or triple, or whatever) the handle on a breaker bar or ratchet, you are doubling (or tripling) the power you have at the point of rotation. So if you stand on a one foot handle, the ft/lbs of torque is whatever you weigh. But if you stand on a three foot handle, the power you are applying is triple your weight.

That's why Archimedes said "give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum to place it, and I'll move the world".

Or something like that.
Yes, it will take lug nuts off. Finally had the opportunity to use it yesterday by helping someone stranded by a flat tire. Still trying to get the feel for the tool. Supposedly by youtube comments, speed 1 is roughly 85 ftlbs, 2 roughly 180ftlbs, and 3 at the max 300ftlbs. Feathering in lugs at speed 2 likely got me around 60-70ftlbs because I still needed around half a turn for my torque wrench set at 90ftlbs.
If there's a harbor freight near you, these impact sockets go well with this wrench.

Good deal

I have the Ridgid Brushless one and it works great

If you can you can often get the Ridgid brushless for $149 and it has lifetime warranty and more power, but for lugnuts and general use I'm guessing this Ryobi works just fine and you save some cash

What a great deal on a great tool. The tool alone is $139. You get a 4ah battery and charger with this kit and save $30!

Good kit at a good price. As low as $99.00 posted on SD in Feb, March and April but still a great deal at the 109.00. Plenty of power for the diyer.

Well it depends on if you need the accessories. (I don't.) If you just want the tool, I would suggest: https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com...h/p/ZRP261
I bought it for a little less. But still a solid deal at $72.

Tire rotations made easy. Its plenty powerful even on my 20" truck wheels. Just keep the extensions short as possible..Thats a torque eater.

This is also certified pre-owned, which only has a 1 year warranty. Personally, the 3 year warranty and not having to worry about who had it before me and how it was used, for the peace of mind is worth the few extra bucks.

I totally agree.
This is a much better deal not just because of the extra 2 year warranty but also because you can easily sell the battery and charger for $65 if you don't need them, making the wrench essentially $51, plus you get the case to store it in.

I have this impact and it works great. Plenty of power for lug nuts and stuck bolts. It also runs low power nicely as I was using it on a stuck brake bleeder at the #1 setting without snapping it.

Brushless would be nice to have though, you occasionally smell the ozone with this and it can get quite warm under prolonged use.

As for power, well I used it on some factory locktite subframe bolts. This was slowly spinning the bolts, something I could only do by hand with a 24" cheeter bar...
