Has never used this before. How does this compare with Mobil 1 extended performance filter?

Bosch and mobile are made from cellulose and this is synthetic material.Material wise this is better and thicker canister for extreme pressure as well.

Cabin filters are pretty pricey, almost double the price of Fram and triple the price of generic ones.

I just use a generic one. For my car, I change it once a year every Spring anyways, so no reason to buy a more expensive one.

Ac Delco has $5 rebate on its cabin filters. Pretty cheap via RockAuto for most applications. $1.50 rebate on oil filters too.

Read that the BOSS line has a less filter efficient rating that their Pure One line (which is cheaper) but the build quality is very good. BITOG forum has a few posts on the product

Even with the $3 discount on the oil filters, they still often seem to be more expensive than the Fram XG, Wix XP, and Mobil 1 filters which are known as some of the best filters for long interval synthetic oil changes.

Both are good brand, this one is up to 15k miles, Mobil 1 is 20k, unless for annual protection which 20k oil, I would choose which ever is cheaper for regular synthetic oil
