I just bought these for my wife, at the time of my purchase (5/28) they also had an additional coupon for $2.00 bringing them down to 227.99. Not sure how long this price will last so wanted to share this with the community.

Paying "premium" doesn't mean the item is premium. As for the YouTube reviewer, dude barely say bad about Apple. He doesn't want Apple to blacklist him from reviewing their products.
He's not afraid of apple. He is afraid of all the apple fan boys blacklisting him.
I have these. I think they sound fairly good. They transitions seamlessly from iPad to MacBook Pro. The active noise cancellation is pretty amazing especially for the size of the product, the first time I put them in my jaw dropped, literally, I was amazed.. I use them when working at home, and it blocks out the noise from the kids next door yelling and screaming, Which alone is worth $230. I run a fan on full blast in my office pointing at me and it works great too. I use them when running and doing kettlebell exercises, and they stay in my ears. The only downsides of these is that when I first got them they hurt my ear for about first two weeks. I almost returned them but stayed the course and now I wear them all day and cant even tell they are there. I thought I had small ear holes but actually using the large size tips that come with them worked best after time. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
I thought their audio quality was rated pretty darn well? I mostly look to MKBHD for tech reviews. Plus you know, you pay a premium for Apple.
you pay for the small size, good connection, noise cancel. not for the sound.
the sound is pretty bad compare to any $100 wired ones I ever heard, not even close
This has been amazing for WFH. I have a iPad Pro, iPhone and two windows laptop. Being able to easily switch between devices and light weight has been really helpful for long conference calls. I would admit isn't on par with other 200+ headset but I'm audiophile. When I do want to listen music I normally switch to QC35.

I have a vornado shop fan in my room and the first time (like 2 days ago) I stuck these in my ears, with no music going, I unknowingly was turning on and off the noise cancellation and was HIGHLY confused that my earpod "button" was turning my fan, which is on a smart plug that I control with my other Apple devices, on and off. An amusing facepalm moment if nothing else.
