I'm trying to stop buying so many running shoes. This ain't helping! Beautiful kicks!
very good shoes for trail hiking. they excel in muddy conditions. i did 25 miles in these over 2 days and i didn't have feet pain. i think normal price is $140. not for pavement or hard surfaces because the grips will wear out pretty fast.

Anyone have experience with these? I often go on trails with some shallow streams. Thanks.

Now that's a nice price.

These are perennial favorites among the obstacle racing crew. I don't love the high heel/large drop, personally, but that varies by taste and gait.

Depending on the depth of the streams you might want to look at the GTX version of this shoe. It's the version with GORE-TEX for a 'complete weather protection', might not keep out water completely but I'm sure it's a better job than the non-GTX version.

I had the 4s and upgraded to the 5 a few months ago. This model line is not water proof, so if that's what you were looking for, not a good choice (in fairness, the lower portion of the shoe does have some water resistance, so if you're staying within <1/2" of water you should be fine. And it obviously handles mud just fine). If you don't mind getting wet but want quick drying, I wouldn't say these are great for that either; they're super comfortable, and durable, but the padding and protective layers mean the shoe isn't very breathable, and water doesn't drain out. If your feet tend to get sweaty, or if you get just a little bit of water in there, you'll notice it'll stay a bit damp while in use. That having been said, this is a solid shoe otherwise, and highly recommended if you don't mind that.

I just bought the Brooks Cascadias from the deal the other day. Would have gotten these instead. Ugh.
